This is done in your head; nobody touches the community cards. If everyone else folds, the last person standing wins. If there’s more than one person still in the game at the end, then whoever has the best poker hand wins.
If you have a hand you are positive is going to win, you want to get other players to bet as much as possible. To do this, don’t bet too aggressively but slow-play it. Thus, make your raises incrementally to string the other players along. Poker isn’t just a game of chance—it’s a game of psychology.
The proper time to draw attention to an error or irregularity is when it occurs or is first noticed. So now that you know the basics get out there on the tables and have some fun, but remember, start at the small stakes and build your way up to the higher buy-ins as you gain experience. After the Turn there is a third betting round, which operates in exactly the same way as the previous betting round. Straight flush – ties are broken the same as a regular straight. The player with the button is last to receive cards on the initial deal and has the right of last action after the first betting round. The button moves clockwise after a deal ends to rotate the advantage of last action. One or more blind bets are usually used to stimulate action and initiate play.
